I am leaving this comment so that others visit my blog. What you state above is very true…it has worked for me quite the same way…unintentionally. I agree with Ronnica as well. It is a conversation and it is kind of lonely when you put something on your own blog and nobody says anything.

You make a good point, and it is a strategy that I have followed. However, my goal is not simply to leave a comment to gain traffic back. I leave comments because blogging is all about the conversation between people.
